AJ Moore grew up in a steel town right outside of Pittsburgh, PA. and played just about every sport in his youth.  His love and passion quickly fell to wrestling. From a young age he was always dedicated to becoming a better, more fit, and stronger wrestler.  He took 2nd place in the state of Pennsylvania and after high school was offered scholarships, but deferred to join the Army.  He served in the Army for 4 years and attended and excelled in prestigious leadership schools, such as Ranger School and Reconnaissance Surveillance Leadership Course.  AJ Moore found crossfit in 2005 and has been involved with it ever since both competing and coaching.  AJ Moore placed 4th in the Mid Atlantic Region during the 2011 CrossFit Games.
