Asics CrossFit Shoes Review – Asics Tai Chi by BMB
I looked at these shoes and I was pretty skeptical. I basically figured it to be a $69.00 expiremet. Back in January I got interested in running and the whole pose technique (by febuary I remebered that I hated running and prefered mountain biking) and I wanted to get some H-streets.

The Asics Tai Chi fit was true to size. I normally wear 10.5-11 and the 10.5 fits great.
I have a moderatley wide foot and it is no problem. Arch support: none. none what-so-ever. If this turns you off of a I understand how you could think that way….your wrong, but I understand.

Sensitivity: The Asics Tai Chi shoes made me feel like a ninja, or spiderman? the light weight sole lets you feel the ground below you and yet offers adequate protection. I have taken them on runs up to 4 miles with no problems.

Durability: the Asics Tai Chi shoes don’t look durable, but they are. After 3 months of running, jumping and lifting in them they are in great shape. I do burpees on a concrete floor (I know) and sometimes I drag my toes on the way from PU to the squat position and the toes have not worn out one bit. The soles aren’t worn out at all, which is very suprising to me. I will buy another pair of these should these ever wear out.

I lift in the Asics Tai Chi too. I know people like to get lifting shoes, but that makes no sense to me. It is the same as running in a big limting shoe. If you are lifting a weight and your feet can’t support it, then the human body isn’t designed to lift that weight. But, you can make your feet stronger and more supportive while gaining stength in other places. I also believe that the elevated heel of most lifting shoes puts the body in an unnatural position. If you eat a paleo diet you should probably wear paleo (or the modern equivalent) shoes. Asics CrossFit Shoes Review by BMB
