About Rinaldo’s gym:
Rinaldo Santos Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/Carlson Gracie Central Florida is located within the fully equipped Florida Fitness Center in Winter Garden. The training area is fully padded, with room for group classes, private instruction, and self-defense seminars. Classes meet three times daily five times a week, with open mat training every Saturday. Private instruction is available upon request, and upcoming seminars will be announced on this website. Rinaldo believes in maintaining a pleasant professional atmosphere, with friendly students and no-nonsense training.

Rinaldo holds a 3rd degree black belt awarded by Carlson Gracie. Rinaldo was a member of the famous Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu team. Rinaldo has trained with Clovis DaSilva, Ricardo De La Riva, Crezio de Souza, Sergio de Souza, Carlos Rosado, Rodrigo Medeiros, Ricardo Diogo, Wallid Ismail, Carlson Gracie Jr., Murilo Bustamante, Mario Sperry, Marcelo Alonso, and Luis Manimal.

Rinaldo has 21 years of Jiu-Jitsu experience; he began training under Carlson Gracie in June of 1986. Rinaldo was awarded his black belt in March of 1998. Rinaldo is multi dimensional fighter; he holds a purple belt in Judo, and received 5 years of instruction in the art of boxing. His purple belt was awarded by George Medhi, and was trained in boxing by Claudio Coelho. Rinaldo also has a degree in Physical Education from the University de Gama Filho in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Rinaldo has a professional fighting record of one win and one loss. He made his professional debut in Vale Tudo in 1997 and won his match by knockout via ground and pound in the first round.
